Does Smartup set the credit limit?
No. The company owns its limits and credit policy. Smartup applies agreed data and rules, exposes the decision basis and records exceptions.
Can payment remain available while new sales are restricted?
Yes, if the project policy defines that scenario. Commercial action is restricted while an authorised user can record or process payment.
What if a payment is in ERP but not yet synchronized?
The operating view shows source freshness. Recheck and temporary-decision rules are agreed with finance so stale data is not hidden.
Can the limit be controlled by contract?
Yes, when the contract is the policy level and is included in the exchange. Customer, legal-entity and contract hierarchy is set during implementation.
How is an exception recorded?
The rule, reason, authorised approver, time and resulting action are retained according to the audit scope agreed with finance.
Which data is needed for a pilot?
Invoices, payments, returns, open debt, limits, payment terms, contracts and a controlled order sample for reconciliation.
